A good 8 day painted dial clock in an oak case with mahogany cross banding on the door, quarter pillars and extremely fine banding to the hood. Made by William Ashmole of Repton, Derbyshire (recorded working 1793 - 1800). Height: 7ft 4in.

A very good, rare 8 day round white dial clock in a beautiful oak and mahogany case with reeded columns and raised panel to base. Made by William Mawkes of Sadler Gate, Derby (recorded working 1803 - 1828). Height: 6ft 10 1/2in. This clock is currently on display in our US showroom in Princeton.
